Help Milo's to help these cats from a bad hoarding situation
Tax deductible
This is not easy to write but we have been helping out animal control in Northern California for the past few weeks. Someone was found to have 150 cats in their house, some dead in a freezer and kittens dead in a cage. We have been working hard in conjunction with Animal Control and some wonderful rescuers to take what we can. Many have FIP, birth defects or ongoing medical issues that were never treated. We took 8 of the most sick and severe of the cats. When they arrived to Milo's they were flea infested, intestinal worms, diarrhea, bad cat colds and in veterinarian medicine they do a body score from 1-9 (1 meaning they are starved to death and 9 meaning they are grossly obese) most of the cats came in with body scores of 2 -2.5. Panda the cat in the photo has deformed back legs and you see the hair missing because of fleas. They have all gone to the vet for full check-ups and have been on medications to clear up their illnesses. They are doing better now, but as you can imagine our vet bills are huge, but we couldn't leave them their to die. Two of them need to go to specialists for more tests. We made a promise to them when we rescued them that they will be given the best of the best and now we need you to help us keep that promise. A tax deductible donation with help to cover their medical bills and allow them to see specialists which they need.
This week we will be telling their stories on our social media platforms when you see how they came to us and how they are now even after a few weeks, with proper medical care, clean environment, parasite free and eating good healthy food you will be as touched as we are at the spirit these babies have to live.
