Help Minister Kevin Heal and Recover

Hello, and blessings to all who have taken a moment to read our story. My name is Keana, and I am creating this campaign on behalf of a very dear friend, Kevin Simmons, a dedicated Minister, community leader, loving father and husband who recently experienced a life-altering event that none could have foreseen.

On October 9, 2023, while serving his community through his work as an Uber driver, Kevin was tragically shot six times in a senseless act of violence. The bullets struck him in the face, left arm, right chest, left stomach, through his right ear which exited the left side of his face, and hands, leaving him with severe injuries that he miraculously survived. Today, Kevin stands as a testament to human resilience and faith, but the road to recovery is long and fraught with challenges.

Currently, Kevin is bravely facing the reality of his injuries. He has lost the ability to hear from one ear and struggles with the use of his fingers, among other complications. Despite these hurdles, his spirit remains unbroken, fueled by his unwavering faith and the support of his loved ones.
