My husband had lumbar surgery done and ended up going to the ER due to serious migraines and a lump in the incision. He was told it was normal post op symptoms and he had inflammation that was normal. The migraines only got worse and the bump got bigger. He went to his post op appointment and saw his surgeon, his surgeon said the migraines weren’t connected and the bump was just normal inflammation. Then, we went to the ER. Almost a week later when he couldn’t take it anymore and they had to cut his clothes off cause of how much pain he was in. Turns out, he has leaking spinal fluid from the brain, which could have serious medical issues that could have happened if left untreated. He is still being treated in the ER, trying to keep the inflammation down from his brain. It’s called Cerebrospinal fluid SCF leak. I’m having to go on leave without pay and take care of my kids while he’s being medically taken care of. Anything helps, thank you and God Bless
