An emergency transplant for Miri

This is my beautiful, sweet cousin Miri.
She’s been in LA with my parents on holiday, 5 days before her trip back home she was admitted to the emergency room.
Her liver and kidney have failed.
She is in the impossible situation of needing a liver transplant in a foreign country. Without insurance and not a citizen of the US this is only possible with the payment of $1.7 million
We have been hoping for some sign of recovery in the chance that we can send her home on an air ambulance, where she can receive a liver for a fraction of what it is here. But there is still no sign of recovery, and not in the condition to endure the long journey. She is struggling and her body is not working on its own, in and out of consciousness, and on dialysis 24/7
For a bit of good news, Her brother who is a universal blood donor may be able to partially donate his liver. Unfortunately there is nothing set up for foreigners to receive this procedure, however urgent, without payment in full.
This outrageous number does not even include her emergency admittance, hospital stay or her recovery. It is for the transplant alone.
Her doctors at USC have been wonderful, working hard for Miri and supportive to our family. They are desperate are for this transplant to become a possibility.
Miri, our vibrant, caring and special girl, has already had a tough year. It is totally heartbreaking to see her not herself. Our family is reaching out in hopes that we can make this transplant a reality and bring her back to her beautiful self.
