Help Miss Rachel Heal

Rachel Fugate is an elementary teacher at Kilauea School who loves being outside, practicing yoga, and spending time with friends and family. This past Friday, while on Oʻahu she was struck my a car as she was walking in a crosswalk. Her femer, hip, and sacrum were all broken in the accident. She is currently at Queenʻs Medical Center, where she has already had one surgery and is awaiting her second surgery later this week. She is in a lot of pain and working hard to stay strong as she gets ready to endure a long road to recover. After being discharged from Queenʻs she will need to be admitted into a long term rehabilitation facility. Please help us support and show our aloha to Rachel as she has done for countless numbers of Kauaʻi keiki over the years so that she doesnʻt need to worry about finances while she recovers.
