Help Mission Dolores' Bartenders in Pandemic

Hi everyone,
The bartending team of Mission Dolores in Park Slope/Gowanus talking to you. Times are hard for us all during this pandemic and global crisis. Our hearts are with each other as a staff, our patrons and everyone in NYC, especially our fellow service workers and every human affected across the world, please, stay safe.
Some of the worst hit by this crisis, especially financially, are us bartenders in NYC. Bars have shuttered without an end insight and quickly. That leaves us without any form of income indefinitely and will make our survival in this city extremely difficult. IF YOU CAN, we are asking you to contribute or spare any amount you can to our fund. The money will go to help our amazing bartending staff. The main bar staff Adrianne, Annie, Alex, Paul & Grady will be splitting all of the funds equally with a percentage of the total going to our bar back and world's most reliable cover guy Niko. This will help us to pay rent, utilities and groceries during this time. It will help us simply get through this financially.
Our staff is being hit particularly hard during this Coronavirus Pandemic because it is the SECOND TIME THIS YEAR our beloved Mission Dolores has been closed due to circumstance out of our control.
This last summer, our bar was victim to an accident; scaffolding collapsed into our bar from nearby construction injuring patrons and destroying our bar physically and it put our staff out of work for about 7 weeks. This period of our first unexpected closure happened during the peak of our busy season. Between our previous shut down and now our forced shut down in response to this health crisis, it is insanely difficult for our team behind the bar to make ends meet. We know everyone is in tough times and we hope and dream that in the not too distant future this will pass and we'll be the team there to sling you a beer, give a treat to your dog and get the Frosé machine out and spinning.
A humble, hard working bar team asking for help-if you're able. Stay safe and healthy out there, everyone.
