Help Mission Rebirth Expand Its Impact

Tax deductible
Mission Rebirth, a non-profit based in New Orleans, LA, was founded in 2020 to support justice-involved, formerly incarcerated, and vulnerable populations. The organization initially focused on education and training for reintegration but expanded to provide essential life services such as housing, healthcare, transportation, food, and vital documents. They have served over 1,453 clients, with about 85% experiencing homelessness.

Mission Rebirth follows a comprehensive "one-stop-shop" model to address physical, mental, and social needs, offering services including case management, housing assistance, food support, behavioral health services, workforce training, clothing, and substance abuse treatment. In 2023, they successfully housed 51 clients, thanks to partnerships with landlords who value their lifelong case management approach.

The organization is seeking operational support for office space ($2,700/month) and staffing needs to expand its impact. The Executive Director currently works without a salary, relying on small contract jobs to keep the office running, and they have two youth staff members funded through June 2024. Mission Rebirth is looking for donations to continue its critical work in the community.
