Help Missy find security while she heals from cancer!

when we are at our lowest what often takes us out of desperation is by helping others in anyway we can.

My name is Lauren, but to most I’m Fitz.

I have been blessed, and overcome with gratitude for the generosity, gifts and support received when I needed help, even from people I didn’t know.

I did not know how to be vulnerable and ask for assistance myself, so I ask now for a dear friend.

I am humbly requesting financial and/ or compassionate support for

my good friend, Missy who has truly experienced a life of struggles.

She is fighting to get on her feet financially and SAFELY during this long journey of recovery from early trauma, alcoholism, and now her second cancer.

Missy has been sober since Dec 2021.

She spent 18 months in trauma therapy, but had to leave during her first cancer treatment.

Amnesia caused her to have to move back in with her sister - after completing 16 months in a strict trauma informed community. a traumatic situation - back to a place she was working hard to heal from. 2.5 hours away.

She travels to AA home groups, cancer appointments for chemo, trauma therapy, and equine therapy.

Missy has a car to get to as many appointments as possible. She has a little job in a therapeutic setting to earn once she is back in the area.

My friend needs a safe place to call home, to stay while she continues to heal from so much, and transitions to other housing. She is living over 2.5 hours away from her support and Jefferson.

I am praying for any financial support you can graciously give, to find her a place for recovery, in a safe place to heal, both mentally and physically; or to secure a place to live in Bucks or Montgomery county- an in - law suite or room?

Missy sober Date is when is Dec 14, 2021.

She has already survived one bout of Breast Cancer.

She has already survived a very traumatic past.

She has devoted herself to her recovery and transformation.

She has been re-diagnosed with Cancer.

And after the treatment began she lost her place at the long term intensive trauma program she had spent 18 month adhering too.

Traditional sober living is not showing up in our area her cancer is seen as a liability.
