Help Mister walk again.

Donation protected
Our dachshund, Mister, became paralyzed on Christmas Eve 2022 and had to undergo emergency surgery. After 8 months of recovery, he got his life back.

But, that all changed when he ruptured another disc. He will have to get surgery yet again.

The paralysis is caused by herniated discs in his back. This is officially known as IVDD (Intervertebral Disc Disease) and affects 1 out of 4 dachshunds along with many other breeds.

We have a small window of time to perform corrective and potentially life-saving surgery for our little guy. Mister has been there for us in the worst of times. Now, we return the favor. We're pleading for your support for these critical and expensive surgeries.

Donations go directly to pay for the care of Mister. Occasionally, donations may be used to help other families going through similar situations by funding care packages or direct payment of their emergency veterinary bills. We hope this grows to a point where we can help other families, not just us.

Mister's first incident, including surgery, follow-up appointments, supplies, medication, and travel came out to $9,515. For Mister's second incident, the hospital quoted us between $8,031 and $9,986. This plus future estimated expenses brings our new fundraising goal to $20,000.
