Help Moana Fight Bone Cancer

Hello, I thought I would just give an update on the progress with my mum's journey with cancer.

My mum was diagnosed with Cervical Cancer in 2022. She received 9 weeks treatment of Chemotherapy and Radiation.

We waited 6 months after her treatment for her results to find out that the Cervical Cancer had been cured with the Radiation and Chemotherapy treatment.

On August the 23rd 2023 our world was turned upside down and our hearts broken we received the news that my mum now has Bone Cancer which is pushing on her spinal cord and has started to spread through her body. The Bone Cancer is incurable but can be managed with intense treatment including a course of Chemotherapy and Radiation, her last treatment for Chemo will be on the 22 of December 2023 and last course of Radiation in January.

With this treatment it has caused the loss of hair for my mum which was very traumatizing, she had family that shaved their hair to show love and support, this was one of the most heart warming experiences through out this entire journey.

My mum is one of the strongest woman I know, she is a fighter! Not only is she fighting this horrid disease but she is currently working a full time job which she is struggling to make it through a day doing the basics with out needing to rest. She is now on immunotherapy for the rest of her life.

As you can imagine, expenses will begin to accumulate immensely during this time so if we can help raise to support her expenses we could help lesson her burden while trying to fight to stay alive for her family.
