Help Mohammad's Family Survive and Evacuate Gaza

Donation protected
I'm raising funds for a friend of mine, Mohammad, as well as his wife, four children, and parents, all of whom live in Gaza; I'd like to use this space to share his words:

"My name is Mohammad Sursour, I am a Palestinian from Gaza. I come to you with an urgent plea that comes straight from my heart. My family and I are in dire need of your support, and time is of the essence.

Like any father, I have dreams, aspirations, and a desire for a better life for my kids, my wife and myself, but the Israeli occupation has cast a shadow over our hopes, making our lives incredibly horrible and challenging to achieve our goals.

I'm a father for 4 children , the youngest one of them was born just 4 months ago, during the war in catastrophic circumstances, under bombardment by warplanes and explosions, and we had to move out with the baby and my other children on the second day of my wife’s birth, going to a safe place, we walked a distance of more than 12 km towards the southern Gaza Strip, where we were forcibly asked to evacuate the city and at a difficult time for my wife, who was in dire need of rest physically and psychologically, but she walked this distance and suffer more than that, as my children witnessed atrocities and horrific scenes on our way out, and houses and buildings were destroyed and demolished as a result of the violent heavy and continuous bombing, as a result for that my children suffer from nightmares and psychological crises because of this. We are left with nothing, facing the grim reality of homelessness once this war ends. We lost everything that we had worked on over the years, and we became homeless and without a shelter.

Even after our displacement, the situation became more difficult as the place of our displacement was bombed, and we live in terror again, the suffering was increased by our simple needs, the minimum of which we cannot meet, such as food, clean water, and even baby dippers, as my children began to suffer from weight loss, dehydration, and gastrointestinal diseases due to the lack of food and its contamination. Currently, we are sheltering now in Rafah, along the southern most border with 1.9 million surviving Gazan citizens Our goal is to raise money for my family and I to help survive in Rafah's current conditions, and hopefully evacuate to Egypt once enough funds have been gathered.

But there is a glimmer of hope amidst this darkness. With your support and generous donations, we can rebuild our lives from the ashes. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a significant impact.

Please, I ask you not to turn away from our urgent plea. Your support can make a world of difference in our lives. Together, we can rebuild, reclaim, and forge a future filled with hope and freedom. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your unwavering support in this urgent matter."

Estimated costs to cross the border from Gaza to Egypt are $5,000 per person. The funds raised will allow Mohammad and his 7 family members to evacuate Gaza, and to cover their basic needs and find alternative livelihoods options once they are able to leave.
