“Help a family from Gaza get treatment and a decent life.

My dear friends and kind people across the world,

I am urgently asking for your assistance and support to help my family. My name is Muhammad Al-Hayek from Gaza and I'm 20 years old. I was a university student at UCAS in Gaza in October 2023.

My family and I were forced to leave our home in Northern Gaza on October 10th, 2023. From October 10th, 2023 through February 2024, my family and I were living in a tent in the south of Gaza. We had no water, no electricity, very limited food. These conditions were much more severe on my sister, Sidal, who suffers from cerebral palsy.

In February 2024, my family and I crossed into Egypt, but at a very high cost. We didn't want to leave Gaza, our home. We want to return back to Gaza and rebuild our destroyed home as soon as possible. We pray that this day comes very soon for all Palestinans. However, we are now stuck in Egypt and unfortunately, here in Egypt we are unable to provide for ourselves, we have been surviving on the kindness of others from around the world. My sister Sidal needs extensive treatment and medication, as well as a wheelchair. My elderly father suffers from several chronic diseases and needs treatment and medication.

We are kindly asking for your support. If you are able to donate, no amount is too small. Your kindness and compassion will not only support our family but also restore our chance to live a dignified life and start rebuilding our lives.

Your help will directly go towards our rent, food, medical care and expenses and clothes. We, Palestinans see, hear and feel the love and support from so many people across the world. This gives us hope in humanity and better days ahead, God Willing.
