My sad story

Listen, Muhammad, from Palestine, Gaza City. I work as a sales representative for a food company. I loved my job, and my life was stable. I had a modest house, and my wife took care of it and made the furnishings and beautification of it with the least possible means. I lived with my young children. The most beautiful details of life and tranquility before October 7 last year, when suddenly Gaza City was attacked. The Israeli air force began a very violent bombardment beyond imagination, with blazing fires that generated explosions with destructive areas. I took my wife and children to escape. We ran along the side of the roads, and we were all afflicted with fear and terror from the intensity of the indiscriminate bombing and extermination. I fled, carrying my children on my shoulders, and my poor wife was pregnant until we reached a safe area. I called my brother. The one who remained next to our house from which we fled, and one of the neighbors responded to me and said that our house was completely destroyed and that my brother who called him had been killed by the bombing. Then I took my pregnant wife and my children and we were all crying from the news of my brother’s killing and the destruction of my house. I went with my family to escape from the hand-to-hand bombardment south of Gaza City and sit down. There I am without work and I cannot feed my children due to the difficulty of financial life. I now live in a tent made of light plastic because I cannot rent a house and I do not know what to do in the winter.
