Help Mohammed’s family with medical bills & survival

Urgent help needed with medical bills and cost of survival in Gaza and Egypt. Help save Mohammad’s family.

Hello world, I am Mohamed Mresh, a young football player from Gaza, I used to play in the National Palestinian League for Shujaiiya club in Gaza and I also used to play in the national Palestinian team.

I managed to evacuate Gaza and make it safely to Egypt with my wife Ola, but my entire family still remains in Gaza, struggling with medical issues and the cost of survival.

My parents are elderly, my mother has health issues - she cannot see in one eye and needs a cornea transplant, she also has rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, and high blood pressure. She was also recently injured during the genocide and struggles to walk on her injured leg.

My sister-in-law is also requires urgent surgery as she struggles with losing her hearing due to the severe and intensive bombing in Gaza, she risks going completely deaf if she is unable to get this operation. She needs a nerve transplant surgery on both ears as well as hearing aid afterwards - all which will cost at the very minimum $5000, although we do not yet know how much it will cost all together.

On top of struggling with medical issues, my family is struggling to survive in Gaza with skyrocketing prices, I am also fundraising to help them with the cost of survival in Gaza at the moment, especially as I have a big family (I have 6 siblings, all of whom have families of their own). From food to to water to medication - every aspect of life in Gaza is extremely expensive right now. I hope to be able to stand with my family and provide them with a sense of support and stability by regularly being able to send them money.

I would also like to evacuate my family once the borders open - the price to evacuate one family member is $5000. Right now I will aim to evacuate my parents first ($10000).

I am also in the process continuing my career as a footballer in Egypt, looking to get signed to a team and finding something long-term that will work for me and provide for me and my family. However, immigration laws in Egypt set unique challengers which are difficult to overcome - particularly for refugees from Gaza who are not provided with refugee status, residency permits, or IDs - making employment a major restriction in the country. While I search for a way to provide for myself, Ola, her family in Egypt, as well as my family in Gaza, we unfortunately have to rely more on crowdfunding until then.
