Help Youssef and his family escape from Gaza

My name is Darius, an electrical engineer from California. I'm making this on behalf of Mohammed Rabah, a 26-year-old man in Khan Younis, Gaza, with his wife and child. This is Mohammed's story:

I am Mohammed Rabah from Gaza,

Married and a father of a two-year-old child named Yousef,

I don’t know how to describe to you the feeling of war and the pain, suffering and destruction we are experiencing here.

Just imagine that I lost my home and my job and lived through the destruction.

We have been in a war for a whole year or more.

I live in a small tent, in the cold and winter.

We have been subjected to the harshest types of oppression.

Here we can no longer bear life.

They target us all the time.

I have been forced to evacuate and move more than 15 times since the beginning of the war until now.

Each time is the hardest, but the next comes and we still suffer.

My child needs health care, but I am alone and in these circumstances I cannot really give him the most basic rights.

He needs healthy food, but even that has become difficult to obtain due to exploitation and the lack of the most basic resources.

We are now in a severe famine and we cannot find any kind of food.

Here in the tent we drowned so much that it flew out of its place.

Surviving death is so hard that they closed the crossing in front of us and now we can't travel and we are still here in Gaza, the destruction.

But I created this campaign so that I, my child, my wife and my family can leave here when the crossing opens.

But even leaving is not easy.

Because we need coordination from Egypt and we have to pay $5000 per person. We are 8 people here.

I need to save my life and the life of my family from death and you are the only way that can help me achieve that.
