Help Molly Walk Again: Support Her Surgery and Recovery

Hello family and friends. On June 25th our sweet 8 year old pup Molly woke up normal just like any other day, went to her grooming appointment and by the afternoon she was a whole different pup. Molly was unable to walk properly and we became worried that something was seriously wrong. After an emergency vet visit and bringing her back home for the night with medication, she woke up the next morning unable to walk at all and her condition had worsened. Her two back legs were completely paralyzed. After being referred to a different ER vet and having an MRI performed, it was confirmed that Molly was suffering from Intervertebral disc disease (IVDD) which had caused a disc herniation in her spine and led to her being unable to walk and become paralyzed.

The best course of treatment is surgery with high hopes of having a full recovery and regaining the ability to walk again. Molly is still young and has more life to live and we know she’s not ready to leave this world just yet.

Molly has the ability of making anyone fall in love with her. She’s the most loving and nurturing pup you’ll ever meet. My husband and I got Molly right before we got married and she has been a huge part of our lives. She’s shared with us some of the most challenging and beautiful moments of our journey including welcoming our first baby girl Malia. Her fur sisters, Bailey and Nelly, are anxiously waiting for their sister to come back home with them to run and play like they always have. Molly had only gained more energy and joy as she’s grown and that lets us know she has more life to live.

From the bottom of our hearts we ask for any help you can give to help give her the best chance at making a full recovery with surgery and the long road to recovery with physical therapy. Both of which are very costly and something we were not expecting have to do. Anything donated will be going towards her surgery expenses and recovery. Thank you so much in advance.
