Help mom adjust to life as an amputee

My name is Te'Amo and my mother is Flor. My mom goes down for surgery to have her left leg amputated. We're entering a new journey and need to adjust to life as we know it.

I currently reside with her as her caretaker and am creating this gofundme to raise funds that will allow me to get updates and repairs done to a shuttle bus Ford E350 so that I am able to transport her to any appointments.

She has a motorized wheelchair and the shuttle has a wheelchair lift that needs a part to function properly. It is believed that the shuttle may also need a head gasket but unsure until someone gets under the hood to diagnose.

Needless to say, it needs a thorough diagnostic and some updates inside as it is a 2003 model. Anyone that has resources and/or can offer repair services as a donation, please reach out.

To know my mom is to love her! She will give anything that she has to make sure you are taken care of. Food, clothes, resources, your advocate, whatever she can do to help, she finds a way and it doesn't matter if she just met you or has known you forever.

My rock (my mom) is losing the independence that she's accustomed to and I just want to give her what she's given me, my brother, her grandchildren, and so many others. She has always been there and now I need to be there for her in the biggest way!
