Help Mom and Dad Care for Ezra

Our great niece Amber and her husband Jordan were shocked and elated to learn just a few months ago that they would become parents. This little miracle defied all odds and medical predictions that he would never be …

He was very impatient to meet his wonderful parents and made his appearance in the world on July 11. His actual due date was August 22nd - and despite being born so early he is doing amazingly well. He has had some recent struggles but continues to fight to be stronger every day!

The one thing we cannot freely give these new parents is the gift of additional time away from work. Time to be spent with Ezra to support him as he gains weight and strength to make his way home. Paid leave time is quickly expiring and hard choices are going to have to be made to return to work or stay with Ezra on unpaid leave. No parent should have to make that choice.

BUT what we can do is provide some dollars that would allow some unpaid family medical leave time to be taken without causing financial hardship on this new little family.

So many people have asked what they can do to help as Amber and Jordan work to spend every possible waking moment with Ezra to make sure he has love and support and everything he needs.
