Help mom fight for her children

HI! My Name is Michelle. I am starting this fundraiser to help my daughter pay for an Attorney. She is seeking full custody of her boys.

The father of her boys, That she shares 50/50 custody was arrested on July 1st, 2023 for Sexual assault of a child, child abuse and public indecency. You can read the article In the Fremont Tribune dated July 7th, 2023. As I cannot bring myself to explain what my granddaughters have gone through. These charges are for her two daughters, whom she had before her relationship started with the alleged.Her relationship with the alleged ended 4 years ago (2019) due to his drinking and verbal abuse. In November of 2022, Her daughters started struggling with depression and she sought counseling for them. In April 2023 her daughter opened up to her counselor That the abuse started at the age of 7 and gave her all details. and that evening she tried to commit suicide. She was taken to boystown mental hospital for a week. Since then they have given statements to police and forensic interviewers with project harmony as a result he was arrested. However, He was released from jail on a 60,000 bond only 2 days after his arrest. We are in great fear for her 2 boys that this man can continue to see. We have tried to fight for the boys on our own, but the system does not work if you do not have a lawyer. We have hit brick wall after brick wall with no help and we have tried every other avenue we can think of. So we are reaching out and hoping you can help us get these boys away from this man. Her children are 18, 16, 12 and 6. I also want to add that the boys have started seeing a counselor as well due to the mental abuse they are suffering from due to their dad. My daughter has taken a leave of absense from her job so she can fight this fight for her family. If you are wondering where my daughter was during this time, She worked nights and overnight shifts at a nursing home during the years of alleged sexual abuse on her daughters. Anything helps!
