Help mom of 3 fight Acute Myeloid Leukemia

This has already been a rollercoaster ride of emotions since my diagnosis on Friday 7/7. It is the hardest news I have heard in my life, I have 3 girls with my oldest going into Highschool this year. With that being said I am still processing so much and preparing for this harsh journey ahead.

There is some dizziness and co fusion so excuse any typos or mis wording please.

I am due to start my journey and will be in the hospital for weeks at a time for no less than 7 months. My biggest worry is not being able to make rent in my absence. My neighbors have started a meal train and prayers chain. It has been amazing the amount of kindness that has poured into our lives. Just tonight I had my hair and my child’s hair cut for free at my house.

If there were a silver lining to this it is being able to see just how amazing people are. I have been praying so hard and been through bouts of anger but am now ready to ask for any and all help, Which is entirely outside of what I’m used to.

We are now into the 3rd month and received so much support at first it was amazing, Unfortunately I’m looking at another 4 months minimum of this and the transplant that I’ll be in the hospital for upwards of a month away from my family again. This breaks my heart and I pray as well as appreciate all prayers for continued remission. Thank you all for all you do and the support you have given or continue to give. My disability said it may take another 3-8 months before being approved. Seems like a lot since I filed in July when I first found out. I’m praying this also moves forward as quickly as possible for my family while I try to to pick up a shift and see how my body does. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
