Help Mom of 3 with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer

Hello Friends and Family,

My name is Savannah.

Today, I reach out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for help for my family and mother, Gina Luongo. Recently, we received a devastating diagnosis that she has stage 4 metastatic pancreatic cancer, turning my whole family's world upside down. My mom has been the sole provider for our family-who consists of my eldest brother Devon, who is severely developmentally disabled, myself Savannah, and our youngest brother Christopher, who is only 7 years old.

Dealing with the emotional and physical toll of cancer is difficult enough. Still, the financial burden that comes with the cost of living, travel, chemotherapy, medical treatments, and medications, all of which are not covered by insurance, has added another layer of stress to our already devastating and challenging journey. We have no idea how long she will be out of work while fighting this battle.

My mom is not just a mother; she's the heart and soul of our family. A woman of strength, love, and boundless compassion, she has dedicated her life to raising three wonderful children and creating a warm, nurturing home for us all. Her smile has been our source of joy, and her unwavering support is our pillar of strength. She has touched the hearts of friends, coworkers, and the students she teaches, most of them referring to her as "School Mom."
