I never imagined I’d be writing this, but my family is facing a heartbreaking reality, and we desperately need your help.

My mom – the rock of our family, our source of love and strength – is in critical condition due to a devastating case of medical malpractice. Despite my brother’s efforts to inform the doctors of her daily medications and proper dosages, his warnings were ignored. In a rush to discharge her, they prescribed a medication that dangerously interacted with what she was already taking. This tragic oversight led to my mom going into cardiac arrest.

Since then, our lives have been turned upside down. She has battled multiple complications, including brain swelling and a stroke. While she remains stable, her condition is fragile, and the road ahead will be long and uncertain.

Watching someone you love fight for their life because of a preventable mistake is a pain I wouldn’t wish on anyone. The emotional toll is immense.
