Help Familia González Rebuild After Wildfire Loss
Donation protected
Hello everyone my name is Dulce. I am creating this for my mom Antonia Gonzalez and her brother. There were many people affected recently in the Eaton Canyon wildfire, we ask that God help everyone through these hard times as so much has been lost. One of those affected was also the house we grew up in, in Altadena. My mother rented the house we lived in for 29 years. This is the house, where where we shared all of our family memories, she would knit baby clothes for friends and family and wouldn’t ask for anything in return. We celebrated birthdays in the house, had height charts on the wall of my growth from Elementary to High School, learned how to ride a bike here, our family gatherings during thanksgiving and Christmas were spent here. If you ever got the chance to meet my mom and step foot in her house, you knew she was very welcoming would offer you to stay if you needed a place to stay and always had a plate of food ready no matter how small. In the fire, my mom lost all of her valuables such as clothes, shoes, jewelry and presents/cards given to her on Mother’s Day and her birthdays. There was photo albums with pictures that we can’t get back, money under the mattress that burned, and handwritten letters from my grandma before she passed away. We look at pictures and still can’t believe it’s happened. During this difficult time we ask for a donation to help my my mom rebuild her life one step a time. May God bless everyone and we thank you in advance.
