Help Momen's family survive and rebuild hope

Donation protected
Hi, my Name is Bridget Mc Loughlin located in New York, and I created this fundraiser on behalf of my friend Momen Abdel Nasser Al-Hajj and his family, who are located in Nuseirat camp in the Gaza Strip. I will be using bank transfer to transfer the funds, which he will use to rebuild his business, restore their family home, and buy food, water, and medicine.
 Please read Momen's story below:

Hello.. I'm Momen from Gaza. I write to you with a heavy heart, saddened by the pain of loss and grief. I'm writing to you from the heart of Gaza, and these may be my last words. For more than 270 days, since the first day of the war on Gaza, our lives have been turned upside down. We have lost everything you can imagine. My brother Ahmed and a large number of my relatives were martyred, and our homes and the homes of my brothers were bombed, leaving us displaced & homeless. I also lost my own business, the “cafeteria,” after it was bombed on the Gaza beach, which was a source of income for me and my family. During this war, I and the rest of my family escaped certain death more than 8 times, and we were injured as a result of bombing and scattered shrapnel. We were displaced more than 5 times, and ended up in Rafah in the south of the city, and then in the Nuseirat camp in the middle of the Gaza Strip. We now live in a tin house that was randomly bombed, in extremely tragic conditions, without the minimum necessities of life: no food and no clean water. There are no blankets to protect us and our children from the cold, there is no food to satisfy our hunger, and there is no electricity. My father also suffers from diseases that worsened during this war and he needs urgent medical care and medication. My mother is diabetic and needs medication and a healthy lunch to survive. She is also in a poor psychological and health condition. However, cooking food has become very difficult due to the lack of cooking gas. We must instead use wood and fire.

My brother's children also suffer from malnutrition and diseases. During this war, my sister-in-law was pregnant and suffering from the pain and complications of pregnancy and childbirth. She gave birth to her child a few days ago in the tent under tragic circumstances, without any supplies, food or clothing. My brother was martyred, leaving his children orphans without a breadwinner. They are in desperate need of help. Every day that passes is worse than the day before. I'm here from the heart of Gaza, and I'm full of hope and confidence that you'll help me survive, meet our basic needs, and buy food and supplies for children and women, as the prices of goods in Gaza are very high! Our lives are in danger as war and famine continue. There is no safe place in the entire Gaza Strip. I'm sending you a call for help and a call to people of human conscience to help us. Despite all this suffering, we are still exposed to indiscriminate bombing near us, not to mention the sounds of strong and continuous explosions and the sounds of gunfire, which causes panic and extreme fear for our children, elderly & women. Also, the smell of gunpowder and toxic phosphorus to which we are exposed kills us, suffocates us, and brings us diseases and toxins... there is no way to even treat it in light of the collapse of the health system in Gaza. Not to mention, the poor psychological conditions that we suffer from everyday. It may stay with us forever if we survive this war.

I beg you and appeal to you to help us with your donations and by sharing my story. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference for us in order to survive and restore our hope. Thank you, brothers and sisters, thank you for your humanity, and I appreciate your support for us .
