Help Momo and his family rebuild their home

i come to Morocco for 20 years and in all those years I have become really good friends with Momo and his family. If there is one guy that I trust and value 100 procent it’s Momo. He does everything to take care of his family and friends. That’s why back in the days he started the first surfschool in Imsouane: Momo’s Surfshop. And he also created a restaurant: Momo’s Resto. They are lovely places where people meet, eat, get together and surf. I have been working together with them for years…

And now suddenly, out of the blue it’s all gone. Because some investors want to build some rich hotels on the coastline of Imsouane, all the locals houses, shops, restaurants, fishermen etc all have to go.

Momo and his family have lived there for generations, grew up there, made Imsouane the lovely town that it is and now only had 24 hours to pack their bags and leave?

its really horrible and devastating to see. It feels so unfair. As a foreigner I can’t fight the Moroccan authorities and I won’t. But I belief that as a surf community, people that love to come to Imsouane, we can do something for the local people.

Let us help Momo and his family build a new house, surfschool or restaurant. Or just to get back on their feet in Imsouane.

because this little piece of paradise, and mostly these families can’t go to waste.

I ll personally make sure that the money will be well spent..
