Help Monda fight stage 4 Lung Cancer!

Our dear Sister-in-law Monda Yang is diagnosed with stage 4 Lung Cancer. She is not a smoker, and this diagnosis has been a hard pill to swallow. The doctors have indicated that the cancer is in her left lung and has spread to her brain, adrenal glands, and bones, making the diagnosis quite severe and urgent.

 

Anyone who knows Monda, knows her as a vibrant, fun-loving spirit, a dedicated wife & friend, and an amazing mother to 5 year old Grayson, who is her UNIVERSE. So as you can imagine, this diagnosis has deeply affected both my brother Michael and sister-in-law Monda greatly.

Monda is such a driven person as she is the first in her family to earn a college degree from Hamline University as well as a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Minnesota. She is passionate in helping others as reflected in her career path. My brother and Sister-in-law worked so hard and just recently purchased their first home in September of 2021 just a few months before this heartbreaking news was announce to all of us.

 

Monda has recently started brain radiation treatment and has been very tired. She will start chemotherapy in February and we are aiming to support her in every way we can. She has taken leave from her job and is isolating due to COVID as she enters treatment. During this time, they will need help financially to keep a roof over their head, pay bills, and cover extensive medical treatment expenses.

 

We ask you for your monetary help on their behalf. Money should be the least of their problems during this time. Monda should have some peace of mind while she fights for her life. Please help in any way you can; any amount will make a difference. All funds will go directly to Michael and Monda.
