Help Monica Study in the Philippines!

Hello :) My name is Monica Roden and I am a current student at Florida A&M University studying Agricultural Sciences. I have been accepted into an international summer research institute with Purdue University and the International Rice Research Institute! This opportunity is so exciting because the program is for global food security and is mostly paid for by Purdue! This would be not only an amazing opportunity for me to broaden my horizons by traveling out of the country for the first time ever, but this will absolutely take my professional resume to the next level and ensure that I get a job in my career field post-graduation (May 2024). Unfortunately, being that I will be away from home for two months I will need to find a way to pay all of my bills and the upfront travel fees that aren't covered, especially because I cannot work to pay my bills while I am researching out of the country.
