Help Monica's Student Find Stability and Healing

Hi, my name is Monica, and I’m reaching out on behalf of a former student of mine to ask for help during a difficult time. A Black, gender fluid woman in their twenties, they have faced immense challenges, not only financially but also in their personal life. Despite her strength and resilience, she is currently struggling to stay afloat, and they need your support to navigate this tough period.

A major part of her struggle comes from the lack of support from their family. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, she has experienced significant homophobia from her family. This rejection has deeply affected their mental health and sense of self-worth. Being in an environment where they’re not accepted for who they truly are has created a toxic situation, making it incredibly hard to move forward with confidence and stability.

For a long time, she has been doing everything she can to make ends meet—working multiple jobs, attending school, and managing their personal life. But the constant stress of being rejected by the people who should support them has taken a toll. The emotional and mental weight of navigating both financial hardship and family rejection has made it even harder for them to thrive.

At this moment, they are struggling to pay for basic living expenses like rent, food, and medical care. The pressure has been overwhelming, and despite her best efforts, she finds herself in a position where she simply can't manage it all alone anymore.

This is why we’re asking for your help. The funds raised here will go directly to supporting her basic living expenses, therapy and mental health care, and other essential needs. With your support, she can heal, find stability, and continue pursuing her dreams without the constant stress of survival holding them back.
