Help Monique & her child through sudden hardship

On behalf of Monique Teichert and her beautiful 11-month-old daughter, we invite you to offer your support to Monique as she navigates a tragedy that no mother should need to endure.

The afternoon of Saturday, January 21st, irrevocably changed the trajectory of Monique's life. Through no fault of her own, what was previously a two-parent, two-income household has become one. Instead of co-parenting and raising her daughter with her former partner, Monique is now navigating the legal system, grappling with the trauma of bringing her infant daughter to the ER, struggling without a vehicle while her car is impounded, and ruminating over how she will continue to afford rent and secure housing for herself and her child.

Those that know Monique know that she is a beautiful person inside and out. Since becoming a mother in February of 2022, she has stepped into the role of parent, caregiver, and provider with grace and compassion. After maternity leave, Monique returned to work full time - and continues to do so right now, even while the once-familiar stability and security of her daily life is in turmoil.

To give Monique one less thing to struggle with right now would be a gift and a blessing. She and her incredible baby girl do not deserve the chaos that has interrupted their lives. We are hoping to secure funds to alleviate the financial burden of: rent through the rest of this year, a temporary rental car, childcare, legal needs, medical appointments, groceries, and any other planned or unexpected expenses.
