Please Help Monte and Terri rebuild after deadly fire.

On Christmas Day at 0900 an electrical fire destroyed a retired disabled veteran and his wife’s home in Maxville. The home was destroyed by an electrical fire that appears to have started around the refrigerator. What the fire didn’t destroy the smoke damage did. Sadly it also took the lives of their two beautiful dogs (Kira and Gracie)

This family that this has affected are not the type to ask for help, but are always the first to offer it. Monte is a disabled veteran who is losing his eyesight but not his spirit. He and his wife (Terri) are however devastated over the loss of their loving dogs. The pups were 5 years old and have been a big part of their lives! Having to bury them on Christmas was hard.

What makes this tragedy even worse is the insurance was up for renewal on the home several weeks ago. Their insurance required 30% down to renew coverage, which wasn’t possible. So they have to start all over. The home is a total loss as well as all their belongings.

Anything helps. I’m just trying to give them something to help rebuild their lives and recover from this tragic Christmas Day :(

Funds will be used to replace the dwelling and material affects lost in the fire.
