Help Monty Schumacher replace his stolen bike!

Donation protected
Monty was in the class just behind me in high school. He was part of my circle, my tribe, even if we weren't all that close. Maybe it was because Monty had better hair than me, I dunno, but we weren’t close friends. However, that doesn't matter; I knew him, and he is a good guy deserving of far better than he has been handed, so I hope we can find friends who can help him out here.

What I do know is this: Monty had his bike stolen by a scumbag while he was in a store for just a few minutes. The bike was Monty’s sole means of transportation in Eugene. Monty, a veteran having served this country, really needed that bike. He had a bout with MRSA that nearly killed him and left him with a leg with fused bones from the MRSA destroying the tissues and joints. He can’t walk well at all, and really needs a good means of transportation. Right away, gang.

So here’s the deal – let’s give what we can to Monty’s account here and try to get him as close as possible to what he needs. It will be up to Monty to decide what that is but let’s give him enough options, be that a new bike, an E-bike (which would really help him get around farther easier), or maybe even a scooter (which would reallllly help him get around easier and farther). Whatever he needs, it is up to him.

For a good target (though that's up to Monty) I found an excellent Ebike that is a heavy-duty commuter, a step-through frame to make getting on and off easier, and with enough pick-up and go to get him around town safely and quickly. It has about 40 miles on a charge at up to 28mph. This is the link to what I have in mind:

(Dang, it's a nice bike - I want one now!)

Let’s just try to hit the mark as fast as possible. Let's shoot for $2000.00 and get this done ASAP!!

Thanks, Scott Diamond
