Help Moonlight - 1 year old Paisley Desert Pony

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Samantha Nicks. My friends and teammates for the MYWY Mustang Madness competition had a bit of an freak accident this morning. Moonlight went through a fence this morning and tore her tendon sheath.

The Veterianrian said the costs to fix this starts at 2,000. There is a little tendon damage
$2000 irrigation antibiotics injection into the tendon sheath every 2 days for 8 days. Today cleaning the tendon sheath and wound orthoscopicaly. Then wound care for 2 weeks or longer. Praying that the sheath will heal and lameness going forward. 2nd option surgery to repair $2,000 and then around $2000 for follow-up care

This family has poured their heart and souls into training and Re-homing BLM Mustangs through events such as MYWY Mustang Madness Competition for several years as a whole family.

The trainers get 100 days to gentle these wild horses and then showcase all there hard work at the competition in Clem Elm WA the first week of August. The trainers get a very small stipend from the program to participate (generally 250.00) but the trainers are responsible for all costs associated with the care of these horses.

If you know Tassin personally she herself is amazing despite her own disabilities and forges on training and working with these wild mustangs, she is my personal hero and what pushed me to be a competitor this year! Let’s give back to this incredible family. They need help with the medical treatment for Moonlight. Any and all help is truly appreciated!
