Help Morgan & Orange Back On Their Feet After Fire

To everyone who chooses to read this, first and foremost thank you. I know for a fact that Morgan appreciates you just even taking the time.

My name is Alex. Morgan and I worked frontlines together for some time. As some of you may know, Morgan is a fierce frontline worker who gives her everything to the community she serves. Morgan and I spoke today (July 23rd, 2024), 3 days after the blaze which consumed her apartment happened (July 20th, at approximately 4am). Seeing what Morgan and her kitty Orange needed in terms of support was beyond what me and my small family could provide so with Morgan's consent, I have decided to reach out to our vast community in efforts to support their journey to rebuild their life.

Luckily Morgan as well as her kitty Orange, made it out safely and were unharmed. Unfortunately though, their home has been left in ruin.

If the flames didn't destroy it, the smoke did and Morgan and Orange are now left having to restart with nothing.

The hope is to raise enough money to support Morgan and Orange for some time as they navigate this new tragic chapter in their lives.

Here's the ask:

Rent Support 1 Month: $1,650.00

Total Bill Support 1 Month: $500.00

Furniture and Clothing Replacement: $2,850.00

Total: $5,000.00

This sum will not replace all of Morgan's belongings nor will it replace any of the her sentimental items but it will be a great start. Also, supporting them for a month will allow them some time to breathe and come up with a plan on how to move forward.
