Help Mosa Hammad Evacuate His Family to Egypt

We have surpassed 400 days on the genocide taking place in the strip. The borders are closed and very limited aid is allowed in. The only people able to currently travel are those with medical emergencies. Mosa’s father, Mahmoud Hammad, is suffering with type 2 diabetes where treatment is so expensive in the strip the family is forced to use their funds they’ve saved for evacuation. His medication is no longer available and he is seeking emergency treatment abroad.

Mosa Hammad is a 25 year old law graduate from Khan Yunis. He and his brothers used to work as salesmen at the Eva Center boutique to provide for their family. Now the Eva Center no longer exists due to the brutality of the occupation. Mosa is staying with his family of seven in what’s left of their bombarded home. They desperately wish to seek asylum and evacuate together. They have not been able to save their funds for evacuation due to the high cost of medical expenses and inflation in the cost of aid. It is critical we continue to support them and advocate for their safety.

Winter is soon approaching and rain is starting to cause chaos amongst those displaced in tents and in the streets. It is vital that our support is loud and clear in order to apply pressure to end this. Mosa and his family have been displaced and living in tents for over a year now. They stay in drowning tents in cold weather where they are unable to sleep. Due to the blockade and need to save funds they eat only one meal a day. They are currently having to eat rotten flour where they are forced to sift out worms and eggs. This is another part of the psychological torment they are facing.
