Help Mother and Baby in Need

Donation protected

Hello My Name is Kenyatta Jenkins,
my husband Bristol Jenkins and I have met this young lady years ago at the Kids Club Nesbit community center where we minister to the kids there. One of the directors named Gerrie Cole-Brown who was saddened by this situation, brought her story to our attention and it broke our hearts to hear of this. So we all wanted to try and do something to help this mother and baby in their time of need. Her name is Nicira Jackson a 21year old new mom. Nicira loss her mom when she was young from a car accident. Losing her mom caused a lot of emotional turmoil in her life, but she continued to keep striving on through so much.

She has been a part of the Kids Club Nesbit Center since it first opened in 2003, She was a faithful member. She has a deep faith in God in spite of what she’s been through.

She attended Pemberton high school, where she met her baby’s father but later graduated from Willinboro high school. They have been together for about 3 years.  Nicira was so happy to be having a baby and to be called mom. She had baby Naim D. Rosa 3 months ago. Just about a few weeks ago she started going back to work. While she was at work the baby’s father babysat, but unknown to her, he was abusing the baby. Nicira felt something was wrong with the baby so she took the baby two different times to Deborah hospital and Virtua hospital, but they diagnosed and passed it off with him having Colic and digestive problems. Only to take him this last time to Cooper Hospital to find out he had a severely fractured skull, broken ribs, broken pelvis and other serious injuries.

Nicira is devastated and has not left her baby’s side since he’s been in the hospital. She has no financial support at this time. Nicira and her son have a long road ahead to healing in so many ways and we are asking for your help. Her life is not going to be the same. We’re concerned about how she will be able to support her child alone, pay all her bills and have a roof over her head after his recovery. This is such a horrific thing for any mother to endure. Please say a prayer and make a donation  of any amount to help them.

We thank you in advance for all your support, prayers and love.
