Help Mother and Children who were buried in landslide

Homesteading/Homeschooling Mama lost everything when she was buried alongside her 3 children in the rubble of her house in one of the worst landslides in our region.

Her beloved home of 6 years was ripped in half and slid 100 yards down the mountain. After blacking out and waking up, she immediately screamed for her babies. The next 10 hours were the most harrowing of her life as she dug her three children out of the rubble. Due to a complete communication blackout, she had to sleep on the floor of their neighbors home despite life threatening injuries.

They were able to send out an SOS signal and her and her daughter were airlifted by helicopter to the nearest hospital. Her two other children were brought to a shelter where a DSS case was opened due to there being two unaccompanied minors.

They eventually reunited her children with her at the hospital where they all three stayed for two weeks.

Unfortunately due to someone falsely filing for FEMA, this mama was bounced from shelter to shelter and temporary hotel stays. She suffered a traumatic brain injury and this has made it hard to coordinate all of the resources she needs to get back on her feet.

She was 2 days into staying at a home she rented for 3 months when she was brutally arrested during a "wellness check" that was called on her. 20 cop cars showed up and harassed this woman, the entire interaction was recorded and has gone viral on tiktok due to how ridiculous the interaction was. While she was held in jail on a false warrant for a different woman with the same name, her children were placed into temporary foster care. Her 4 year old son and her two daughters have been separated in different foster placements.

This mother has been through unimaginable trauma and despite being someone who needs disaster relief more than anyone else I've met, she has slipped through the cracks of the system.

Our team has been with this mama every day making sure that she is receiving emotional support, nourishment, safe housing, and adequate legal council.

We need your help. We pray that FEMA assistance will be sorted eventually but for now we need immediate funds to get this mama and her children in a safe situation and help them get back on their feet.

We urgently need 5k to retain an attorney who is projected to cost 25k. We need about 10k to sign a 6 month lease on a three bedroom house to prove to DSS she has stable housing. Everything else will be used to financially support this mama to get back on her feet.

She has multiple degrees and is a master gardener. She wants to grow her business and help other mothers in this situation.
