Urgent Ahmed’s Family need your help to survive

Greetings, my name is Ahmad Daban, and I reside in Gaza. My friend in Canada is helping us with this gofundme. It's challenging to articulate the depths of our current plight. While we've endured numerous conflicts, this war has left an indelible mark, robbing us of our souls and dreams. As living beings yearning for peace and basic humanity, my family and I find ourselves in dire circumstances, suffering greatly. Since October 7th, our lives have been engulfed in unimaginable tragedy. My beloved father and many other cherished relatives and friends have been taken from us by the ravages of war. With our home destroyed and my mother left voiceless from shock, the responsibility to protect and provide for my family has fallen solely upon me.

Allow me to introduce them:

- My mother, aged 44, a remarkable woman who instilled in us a love for all humanity.

- My siblings: Abd (12 years old), Nabila (20 years old), and Tagreed (7 years old).

The ongoing conflict has left us homeless, vulnerable, and under constant threat of death. We've been displaced a staggering 12 times, enduring untold hardships. For weeks, we had no choice but to seek shelter on the streets. Now, we find ourselves residing in dilapidated buildings with unfamiliar families, enduring inhumane conditions that further jeopardize our lives.

In light of these dire circumstances, I've launched this fundraising campaign to urgently gather funds to facilitate my family's departure from Gaza. The total cost required for their safe passage amounts to $50,000. This includes $7,000 now per person for departure fees, essential for ensuring their safe transition out of Gaza. Upon reaching their destination, we will need financial assistance to cover basic living expenses such as accommodation, food, transportation, and healthcare and pay any application to get asylum.

Your support will make an immense difference in our lives. Funds raised through this campaign will go directly towards covering evacuation costs, including transportation and temporary accommodation until we can establish a more permanent solution.
