Help Motorcycle Johnny, John J. Veres Jr.
This is for my Sussex County, NJ. Friends who are friends with "Motorcycle Johnny" a/k/a John J. Veres Jr. who was involved in a serious motorcycle accident. I'm sure there will be some medical and rehabilitation bills that will need to be paid for, I have no idea what these costs may amount to. I don't have the family's bank account number yet but will reach out and make sure all of the funds go to Johnny's family. My Sussex County friends that know me will trust me that every last penny goes to his family. Let's do the best we can to help out Johnny and his family.
WANTAGE — A 50-year-old man was seriously injured when he was thrown from his motorcycle while riding through Wantage Sunday morning, police said.
John Veres Jr., of Montague, was traveling north on Route 284 near mile marker 2.3 when the accident occurred, according to State Police spokesman Trooper Alejandro Goez. At 11:10 a.m., Veres' motorcycle veered off the road to the right and struck a snowbank, ejecting the rider from the vehicle.
Veres was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center with serious injuries. He was listed in critical but stable condition as of Monday afternoon, according to hospital spokeswoman Karen Zatorski.
No other vehicles were involved, and there were no passengers on the motorcycle.
The road was closed for about three hours following the accident, Goez said. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
