Hi, my name is Amro Abdallatif. I am living in the UK and I am fundraising for my cousin Mousa Nabhan Saleem Abdallatif.

Please take a moment to read his story:

I am Mousa, a 31 year old man from Gaza, married and with two kids, Zeina (3 years old) and Maha (5 years old). Married to Ameera Moneer Asa'ad Sbeeh.

I spent my life working as a regular worker in a book shop with printing services called Aafaq, and before the 7th of October, I gathered all my savings and started to purchase things to open my very own small book shop. I started providing services on October 1st, and a small opening festival was planned for October 10th. However, October 7th came along and everything came to a halt.

During the war, I spent all the time sheltering with family in Gaza city in North Gaza, and survived the starvation and the massive israeli carpet bombing campaigns, all the while worrying for my wife and kids and their lives, and thinking what to do. Ameera's support for me throughout the war was priceless and it broke my heart to see her and my kids starving and afraid with me not being able to do anything to help them.

Then the situation became worse when I found out that even my own book shop that I had saved for was destroyed completely and everything I had purchased was a pile of rubble.

There is little to no chance of finding work at the moment in the current state of North Gaza, and as I am the provider for a family of 4, I need to be able to fulfil their needs.

Moreover, I am hoping that by this fundraiser, and depending on your appreciated generosity I would be able to start my project again which would certainly be a building stone in rebuilding Gaza after the horrific war. So, I am planning to start the shop again and trade books, stationary, gifts, toys, decorations, and provide printing services
