Help Mouse stand proud again

This fundraiser is to help towards the veterinary bill of £5,600 for Mouse’s leg operation. Her treatment costs this year have already far exceeded my insurance limit of 7k.
Many of you will know my rescue greyhound Mouse. I am a glass artist, and Mouse is an integral part of my studio and is very much a therapy dog. She’s my companion, family and I am her custodian.
Mouse suddenly became ill in November ’24 with a fever and limping. She had x-rays but quickly went downhill. She was hospitalised. They managed to stabilise her and get her home to me. She’s been treated for osteoarthritis, cellulitis and has also had a tumour removed that grew quickly during this time. It’s left her with an unstable hock, which has greatly deteriorated, evidenced through further x-rays.
She now needs a metal plate to preserve the function of her leg. Before she was rescued by Tia Rescue, she raced until she was nearly four and this is now catching up with her. It’s all been a bit of a shock and hard to compute the speed of her illness at times.
Mouse needs our help.
Please donate whatever you can afford. I would be very grateful for any support. Her operation is booked in for Thursday 13th February.
