DO YOU KNOW MR. AGNEW? "Amen Amen" "Good Bless You" "I'm here to help" HAS HE TOUCHED YOUR LIFE IN SOME WAY? Encouraging words, acknowledged and greeted you or given you money to help. Well, now is your opportunity to help him: PLEASE FIND IT IN YOUR HEART TO DONATE TO HELP HIM GET A NEW TRUCK so he can continue his volunteer work for the community that he loves. THE STORY:
Mr. Agnew's abandoned work truck was found in the parking lot of Perry School by Ypsilanti Police but they could not locate him. The call went out as the community was worried that something had happened to him. Thank God he is okay, but his truck is not. It has broken down many times over the years and he had spent over$8,000 to keep it running so he can continue his volunteer work. He has also spent thousands of dollars of his own money to beautify the community; starting with planting flowers at Washtenaw Community College, cleaning downtown Ypsilanti, planting and carrying for several church yards, helping struggling business, donating to causes and now maintaining the grounds and planting a community garden at Perry School. He greets everyone that crosses his path by waving and saying "I see you." etc.
I know all this because Mr. Agnew is my dad. Over the years I have watched him give of himself tirelessly. Tangible and intangible gifts of love to the people of our community. He is a great man of God. I'm asking for help because he would not ask for himself. God bless you and thank you in advance. Your prayers are appreciated also.
