Help Mr. & Mrs. Knicely with lawyer fees

Hello!
If you know Brandon and Jessica, you know they that are the real, "Mr. & Mrs. Knicely".

Nicest people you will encounter. Always willing to help at the drop of a hat, kind, generous, lovable, and not to mention both Veterans of our military for many years. Brandon had recently retired from his years of service, now working in Taxidermy, while Jessica remains serving veterans as a clinical Addiction Therapist at the VA.
They made a mistake of purchasing a vehicle and the warranty from a local dealership (MTH), not knowing the difficulties they would face over the next year.

I am asking for help in their attorney fees have been racked up to $7000.

They need to keep fighting this lawsuit, however, don't have unlimited funds (like a large dealership does) to keep fighting.

They were wronged in what happened, and just want a settlement to return the truck- to make them whole.

This dealership had been nothing but unethical since the beginning and the Knicely's have mountains of evidence to prove that.

I know it's the holidays, but every penny counts.
By the way, the dealership is now trying to charge the Knicely's "storage fees" for the truck for the last year, that THEY have not fixed and why it still sits there.
None of this, is any fault of the Knicely's and now they are locked in an unfortunate lawsuit, when the dealership, could easily settle and own up to their own mistakes.

Here's their story:

Very disappointed in the lack of customer service and lack of communication from the dealership.

They've had our truck since January 2022 and have yet to fix the issue they confirmed is covered by the warranty. Every time we asked- the service manager said they were waiting on parts from the warranty company (4.5 months later) Needless to say-their service manager provided me with the phone number after 6+ months to the warranty parts person and they informed me they are still waiting on the dealership to respond.

After further research- much of the delay stems from the dealership not communicating with the warranty company. We're going on 11 months without our new-to-us vehicle.

We did follow up with the warranty company and have the documents from Alpha warranty to prove that it was "waiting on the dealer to reply" for quite a few months all while being told by your service department that we were waiting on the parts to ship.

It wasn't until I called the parts company myself (after being told by your service manager that he would "call them right away in the morning." When I returned to the shop the following day for an update- your service manager had not called so he provided me with the number- I called him the next day and he informed us the second engine had not been ordered because once again- they were still waiting on information from your service department.

I was able to get both the service department manager and the parts POC on the phone together- it was then the service manager admitted to not sending the appropriate information as asked by the parts company.
I am appalled that not only you would attempt to blame this on us- but claim that you "stored" our truck at your facility when the truck was waiting on parts for a new engine and the truck was not in drivable condition without causing additional damage. Once the truck was brought in and your service department determined it was an engine issue, needed a new engine and confirmed this was covered under warranty- this was where we had no other option but to leave it there because I wouldn't foresee you having it towed back and forth between your business and our home for the numerous times we were told the "truck was ready."

We hired a lawyer after this because we cannot trust your business to follow through on what they say they are going to do and you've had our truck for nearly a year.

As far as the "loaner truck" from MTH- it's a vehicle that we are grateful for- although we would rather have our truck that we purchased since an elderly family member is unable to get into this vehicle due to no running boards and our son is unable to switch vehicles with us.

We have had to change multiple plans throughout this last year as we purchased the truck with the power we needed to participate in the activities we've had planned. We never anticipated your business to take nearly a year to complete a warranty issue they agreed to complete. Had your company not been able to do the work- they should not have sold the warranty to us or informed us they would complete the work.
My hope is that you can see this for what it is including ALL documents and conversations and do the right thing by rectifying this situation.
