Help Mr. Orange Walk: Hip Surgery Fund
Donation protected
After our neighbors moved and left behind several cats, we were determined to find this sweet, young orange tabby a home. Unfortunately, he injured himself two weeks ago and he broke his hip, which makes it painful for him to walk. It isn’t slowing him down too much, and he loves to cuddle and play. However, we know he can’t keep trying to walk on a broken hip.
There is a surgery that would shave off part of the bone and allow him to walk comfortably and live a full life, but it costs $1500.
Although I wish we could pay for this on our own, our cat rescue fund was completely obliterated this past spring and summer when we took in Hissy (another neglected cat from our neighbor) after she gave birth to three kittens on our patio. We ended up keeping and spaying Hissy along with one of her babies, our precious Little Orange.
We are over our cat capacity, but we can’t turn our backs on such a great cat who we believe is only about six months old. He’s just so wonderful and we just want to give him a chance at a life. So we thought we would reach out to all of you to see if you might be able to help us with Mr. Orange.
