Help Mr. Turner Get a Vehicle!

My name is Renee Buck. I am a second-year CDA parent of a 5th grader and a 1st grader. Many of you know by now that CDA's beloved security guard, Mr. Turner, is no longer at CDA due to unfortunate events. I haven't known Mr. Turner too long, but he impacted me with his evident love for our kiddos. Not seeing him there this year isn't right, and after learning he was let go without reason, I felt the need to do something to let him know how much we love and appreciate him.

I reached out to him to see if there was anything his CDA family could do for him and his family, and he conveyed he could use prayers as he needs a new vehicle. I thought we could go one step further and show him just how much we love and appreciate him, so I am starting this Go Fund Me in hopes we can help him get the vehicle he needs. The fund will close August 17th, and I will set up a time with Mr. Turner to meet him and reveal our surprise. At that time I will add Mr. Turners info and the funds will be directly deposited to his account.

Please keep Mr. Turner and his family in your prayers, and give what you feel led to give. Whatever we can provide will be a blessing to him. I thought it would be nice for everyone to hear directly from him, so I am pasting a message he sent me below. Thank you all!

Blown away by each of your love and prayers. Honestly, I’ve wrestled with their decision to term me without reasoning but I’ve had to give it to God because he knows best.

Mrs. Garland and the team tried their best to hire me directly but their was a stipulation in the contract preventing them from doing so for at least 2yrs. Mrs. Garland and the team said I’m still welcome anytime and to attend events which gave my heart some needed peace.

We are currently praying for me a vehicle so if you’ll could join us in prayer for that and send me updates about the kiddos until God opens a door for me to return would be the greatest gift.

A former coworker of mines recently started a security firm with a partner of his and today is my first day here, had it not been I would have been there to see my CDA family.

Today is going great but a piece of my heart is struggling but seeing the pics and messages like this is getting me through.
