Help Ms. Gonzalez's Students

I am fundraising to purchase brand new culturally responsive books for my classroom library and a classroom prize box to motivate my students. This year, I have noticed how many of my students read independently and really enjoy it! Unfortunately, my current classroom library is mostly filled with old books that I've picked up at garage sales over the years or that have been donated to me. Needless to say, there isn't much that my students really want to read. Using First Book's fantastic website, I put together a wish list of dozens of new books for my students. And not just any books- these are culturally responsive books in which my students can see themselves in the characters and storylines. I could use any help to purchase these books and provide my students with new reading materials. Additionally, I am hoping to create a "prize box" that I can use to motivate them to do their homework and participate in class work. I have a wish list on Amazon from which I would purchase items such as stickers, mini rubics cubes, snacks, and mini stress balls.

I thank you in advance for any and all help! I have a great group of kids this year and I'd love to give them some reasons to be as motivated as possible to do well in school and be active readers!
