Help Miss Jackie with her cancer treatment!

Hi, my name is Stacy. I am one of Jackie's co-workers, but more importantly, I have the honor of calling her my friend. She is always ready to listen or give a hug. She is quick to call to check on me, if she knows that I need a friend.

Miss Jackie is a loving, giving, supportive and generous person. She loves her friends, kids, grandkids and her school kiddos fiercely. She is one of the hardest workers that I have ever known. . Her day begins at 4 am where she works for a call center until she leaves to drive her bus route before school, she works at the high school all day and then drives her route in the afternoons, too. She also plants an amazing garden and shares her harvest with us every year.

Miss Jackie has been with West ISD for 23 years. We are blessed to call her ours! She has the best bus route around. She started the Basketful of Books on her bus route for her sweet kids. An author from Pennsylvania even donated several signed books to the basket. Miss Jackie loves being the first face to greet her little riders each day. They bring joy to her life and she brings joy to ours daily.

Several years ago, Miss Jackie battled melanoma and won. Unfortunately, her melanoma has returned. She is fighting cancer again and needs a little help. She has a $4300 doctor bill that she has been making payments on. We would like to rid her of the stress of making that payment, so she can focus on her fight.
