Help Ms. Juliet avoid eviction and buy the home she has lived in for 27 years. Ms. Juliet is a beloved community member and has worked for the past 15 years serving food at a local public school. She is a radiant part of our community, and she needs your help to stay in her home.

Ms. Juliet’s neighborhood is gentrifying, and landlords are cashing out and displacing Black residents. Her landlord has been trying to kick her out of her home to sell it for months, and now we need your support to help Ms Juliet buy her home from him. 

As a single, low-income widow, paying for the downpayment and closing costs will be impossible without community support. She raised a child in this home, and lost her husband in this home. Although she’s paid what the house is worth with her rent at least 2 times over in the 27 years she’s lived here, Ms. Juliet will be forced to leave unless we can raise this money for her.
