Help Ms Lori get a car

A lot of people, when faced with chronic illness is concentrating on managing said illness with good reason! Not Ms Lori Golden, she is a survivor of many things that would have made other people throw in the towel including cancer, from which she has had dozens of major surgeries. Instead of retreating she has been on the frontlines in the gritty streets of Detroit Michigan. Almost a decade ago she founded a community outreach called Gloves of Love Detroit, whose mission was to provide winter items for the homeless including hats, gloves, scarves and food. My name is Paul Collins and I have had a first hand view to witness both her resilience and compassion. From Gloves of love also stemmed Church on the corner in which we partner and offer clothing food and encouragement to underprivileged communities. There were times when she could hardly stand herself and still went out in the freezing cold to spread hope to others. Lori does all this on a fixed income. Recently she had to scale back from doing outreach due to complications from one of her many operations.

The diagnosis attached to the complications seemed dire at times. Drs. seem to have found a regiment that is showing promise but Loris' car gave up. After being fixed numerous times it has finally been rendered unsalvageable.

This is the same car she would stuff with items and go help others, even drive miles to pick up donations on her own dime.

I am humbly asking for donations to help secure her another vehicle to get to her Dr. appointments that are sometimes 40 or 50 miles away. Time is of the essence and every little bit helps. All funds will go directly to her, at the time of this post she did not know, neither did she ask me to do this. But for someone that has helped so many others, I believe it is only right to help her.
