Help Ms. Reyes Enhance 2nd Grade Math Learning

I am Ms. Reyes a 4th year teacher. This will be my first year teaching 2nd grade Math and I am very ecstatic. With our school getting a new building, I would love a classroom makeover by clearing my Amazon wishlist and adding more skill proficiency resources like manipulatives and educational programs or games for my students along with a Calm Corner. As a former preschool teacher of 8 years, I believe that children learn through play. Learning through play helps build cognitive, social, literacy skills and physical abilities. One program that I would love to purchase for my class is Happy Numbers. My first graders loved Happy Numbers! They were engaged and learning! I’ve never witnessed a group of kids enthusiastically asking to login. 71% of my 1st graders were on grade level or exceeding after using Happy Numbers! The cost for a class of 30 will cost about $435. Our Calm Corner will help promote mindfulness and self-reflection by allowing it to be a safe, comfortable place where my students can develop self-regulations and take a break to calm down or solve a problem.
