Help Ms Taylor Battle Kidney Disease

Hello All,
I am Jonee Lenyia Taylor and I have been teaching elementary school for 16 years, five at Unity Classical Charter School. I have a ten year old son named Roland whom I love. My favorite grades are first grade and second grade. I believe that having a grasp on the fundamentals is important for future academic success.
I am not able to teach this year due to Polycystic Kidney Disease. I went to the doctor for a routine physical in July of 2022 and was informed I had stage 5 Renal disease. I am now in need of a kidney transplant. This disease is hereditary as my mother had the same illness. She received a kidney transplant from her sister and it lasted for twenty years before it failed and she passed away in 2018.
I am now training to do home hemodialysis which would give me more flexibility with my schedule. This way I’ll hopefully be able to get back to my students in the Fall of 2023. I appreciate all your thoughts and prayers.
